    >I’m not super upset about Fury, but shouldn’t Kurt’s observation about Spider-Man aging in real time also apply to your reasoning with Fury? If fans would be deprived of Spider-Man stories by letting him age, aren’t they now going to be deprived of Nick Fury stories? I know you’ve shoe-horned New Nick Fury into the main Marvel U., but of course that’s not actually Nick Fury.>

To the majority of people in the world at this point, I’m afraid that very much is Nick Fury, whether you like it or not. And that doesn’t seem like anything that is going to change any time soon.

In terms of your other point, we will kill characters and change characters and have things happen to characters so long as it makes for a dramatic story. This story isn’t over yet—so Wait and See!
