Either a whisper or sign language? Or limited speech? I don't think it would take away from him. Just curious. Oh and I am a LONG time Uncanny X-Men guy and I don't care about the whole Uncanny thing. As long as there is still an Uncanny X book I'm good. How about an Uncanny X-Factor...? :)

Every once in a while somebody talks about this, and it’s entirely possible that at some point somebody will try to do this. But to me at least, it’s like trying to make Daredevil better by giving him back his sight—while Black Bolt’s muteness does make it difficult for him to be the central solo character in a story, it’s also a big part of what makes that character who he is.
